About National Brain Research Centre
The National Brain Research Centre formerly known as NBRC is a neuroscience research group, situated in Manesar, Gurgaon distt., Haryana, India. It is an Autonomous Govt. Institute accredited with the deemed university status and is a nodal center under Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. NBRC was dedicated to the country on 14/11/1997 and it was formally inaugurated at its current campus in Manesar in December 2003 by then President of India A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
